    what if in August 22, 1990, a United States general initiates the nuclear war against the world accidentally, but it was too late to stop the nuclear war that destroys all the world’s major cities and killing millions of lives? What would the future be like?

    Presumably this is related to the United States mobilization for Operation Desert Shield, which began on August 22, 1990 (source)?

    Still how will this lead to a nuclear war, unless you have the Soviet Union who is on its last legs get involved.
