    The World Almanac has information on the larger nations of the world, especially from the 1890s editions. Before the 1890s it is focused more on the United States. Click here for links to the various editions online.

    I wonder is the CSA also mention in the 1864 Yearbook.

    It actually is in the 1865 edition despite the fact that the Confederacy never achieved formal diplomatic recognition by any country.

    So it is listed as being part of the United states of America.
